Laia Sopena is a distinguished Spanish freediver who has achieved remarkable milestones in the sport since beginning her competitive journey in 2021.

Record-Breaking Achievements

Laia's dedication has led her to set multiple Spanish national records across various freediving disciplines. Her personal bests include a 100m CWT (constant weight), 108m VVT (variable weight), 56m CNF (constant no fins), 6'21" Static apnea.

International Recognition

In September 2024, Laia secured first place at the CMAS World Cup in Greece with a 100-meter dive and earned the runner-up position at the AIDA World Championship in Corsica with a 98-meter dive. These accomplishments have elevated her to the ranks of the world's top female freedivers.
